2025 Breakout Sessions

When the Pot Shatters - Donna Mueller

How do you pick up the pieces of a shattered heart after painful loss?
Do you wonder if God is still there? Can a broken heart ever mend and function again? Donna will share Scriptural promises based on some of her own experiences. The Muellers lost their 28-year-old son, Stephen, to an accidental drowning in January 2020. Since that dark time in her life, God has taken Donna on a grief journey that results in truths she’d like to share with the bereaved and those who care for them.

Personal Testimony: Designed for Purpose - Chris Kirsch

Even before Chris was saved, God was working in her life. Please join her as she shares her quilts and the wonderful story of God’s love and perfect plan for her.

Prayer 101 – Instructor: Jesus Christ, Son of God - Scarlette Steuerwald
As Jesus prayed, a disciple asked Him to instruct them how to pray. Christ went on to give the teaching we know as the Lord’s Prayer. Come to Prayer 101, and learn from Jesus’ lips the principles of coming before God in prayer.

When Marriage isn’t a Hallmark Movie - Charis Holloway
Deep within the heart of every person is the desire to be chosen, respected, and loved. Just about every little girl imagines that a Handsome Prince will sweep her off her feet and her life will be wonderful!
But what happens when we realize that our Prince isn’t perfect, his Bride has some significant flaws of her own, and the plot of our Hallmark movie life isn’t the “happily ever after” we had hoped it would be? How do we navigate the ups and downs of marriage, all the while maintaining joy and delight in the relationship? Join us as we discover what the Bible has to say about these things and gain some practical insights into a “joyfully ever after!”

Fearfully & Wonderfully Made (Ps. 139:14) - Diane Nelson

We women were divinely created to live our adult lives in hormonal and at times emotionally charged cycles. We are also commanded to “… glorify God in (y)our body…”. This workshop will give some practical tips on how to live and serve, in “wisdom and understanding” with our hormones, not in spite of them.

Beyond Sunday Morning - Rachel Smith
Most church members desire to be ministered to and engaged by their church beyond Sunday morning. Regular church attendance is now considered to be twice a month. According to The Barna Research Group, doubts and questions of faith being dismissed by leaders, not finding God in church, not learning about God, and not finding community are among the top reasons people are no longer regularly attending church or even attending church at all. How can you be engaged in your local church more? How can you help your church to engage these fellow believers again and introduce non-believers to Christ? What does it mean to be a beyond Sunday morning Christian? In this session we will discuss the answers to these questions and more.
